pic. 1: matt with bungee monkey outside of the museum of contemporary art. we'd picked up the monkey and me a pair of converse on the way to the top of the john hancock tower. several drinks later we ended up at the MCA. i changed shoes whilst matt made arrangements via phone, PDA and Suunto altimeter watch.
the bungee monkey had fresh batteries and screeched an awful screech upon landings. the bungee monkey had a date with nick cave, though this eventually proved untenable from our seats (calculations via the Suunto altimeter watch) at the show.
matt put the monkey in his shirt while we toured the museum, only dropping it several times in very quiet museum halls. we might have been asked to leave.
pic. 2: i always thought it some achievement to outlast matt on our chicago trips. this is the aftermath of one of our evenings out; i think this was matt before he took up residence in the bathtub, which was before he took up residence on loki's bed (refer sketch above) and through which loki's great (and loud) protestations he slept.
