MATT & Music, Bands, & Live Shows~ One of our favorite pastimes. . .the Glory of Youth:After College, We continued to stay in touch; usually contacting each other whenever our favorite bands or musicians came to town~ for years he demanded time & again that I had to meet him to see these guys from Canada~ I woke up the next day not only glad to be ALIVE, but Glad we made the DRIVE, down to Sacramento to this shitty DIVE, to meet each other for another evening of moshing & swinging each other around arm & arm at an 8 dollar show.

the only thing i really remember from this show is matt tapping me on the shoulder with whisky in hand every ten minutes or so... and that we both ended up in the pit, slam-dancing to the thundering bass until our old bones couldn't take it anymore.

matt had a broken foot/ankle at this show. i'd look over and he'd be propped up on crutches over by the drumkit in the front row. he said it was the best show he'd been to with a cast.
